Functional Nutrition Practitioner & Health Coach

Meet Taylor

Taylor Lang is an Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner (IFNCP) and National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) who combines functional medicine principles with evidence-based health coaching to help people better understand their health and create meaningful, sustainable change.

For Taylor, this work is deeply personal.

As a cancer survivor, she knows firsthand what it feels like to navigate complex health challenges. While treatment saved her life, it also left her facing a multitude of long-term side effects that continued well beyond cancer. Searching for answers to those challenges ultimately led her to functional medicine and a whole-person, root-cause approach to health. Through that journey, she has been able to overcome or significantly improve many of the health challenges she once faced—and it fundamentally changed the way she understands health and healing.

Her experience taught her the importance of looking beyond an individual symptom and asking a deeper question:

What might be contributing to this in the first place?

Taylor's professional work has grown from that same philosophy. In addition to working with clients, she serves as a Program Director and Lead Instructor for a functional medicine health coaching certification program, where she trains aspiring health coaches to integrate functional medicine principles with evidence-based coaching while practicing ethically and within their scope.

Despite the word nutrition in her credential, Taylor's approach extends far beyond food. Functional medicine nutrition looks at health through a whole-person, systems-based lens, recognizing the interconnected roles of nutrition, gut health, sleep, stress, movement, metabolic and hormonal health, environmental influences, and everyday lifestyle patterns.

By combining this functional medicine knowledge with health coaching, Taylor helps clients connect the dots between different areas of their health, better understand potential underlying contributors, and identify realistic ways to support their well-being.

Rather than simply telling people what they should do, Taylor believes in helping them understand the why, recognize patterns in their own health, and develop changes that are both meaningful and sustainable for their individual lives.

Her goal is simple: to help people become informed, empowered participants in their own health.

Whole-person health. Root-cause thinking. Sustainable change.
